hey julia, being narcissistic, i'll say i love all the pics with my face in it =) besides that, i like the last pic. personally, i think the composition is nice with different "texture" (for lack of a better word) in it.
ok, next = night scene, hotels/resorts, kundasang, tawau, etc etc...
p.s. forget about the mini cooper =)

btw, you asked me to post up a reply to your question, "what compels me take a certain picture?" well, seeing that i ain't gonna post up the orchid show pics soon (lazy bah), i'll answer you here...
hmm... not an easy thing to express oh. when i take a pic, i dun really think of composition/lighting/lines/blah blah blah... hmm... gimme some time to mull over your question ya? get back to you again... maybe on the next pic-taking outing, i'll pay more attention to my feelings/decisions..etc. hehehehehehe *malu-lah*

Hah! chung-chung,....after reading ur frens msg, i quickly 'curi' ur photo..it's on my desktop now...& hahah! i found the 2nd crab-ooo.... which is on the middle bottom of the pic.... cute....^_^
